About Terri

Terri Klein: Author, Poet, Motivational Speaker,
Teacher, Life Coach, Lifelong Student.

Terri’s spiritual journey began many years ago. While fulfilling
her very important roles as mother, wife, daughter and teacher,
Terri found time to begin her journey as a lifelong student of the
very highly acclaimed ‘School of Life.’

An avid reader, Terri has read a multitude of inspirational and
spiritual books and has attended numerous Self-Help Workshops
and Seminars. She has devoted herself to personal growth and
self-improvement.

Terri’s dear Mother embarked on her own eight-year journey
and battle with cancer that sadly resulted in her untimely death.
Sharing her mother’s journey only accelerated Terri’s personal
quest for renewal and a life of meaning.

In time, Terri gave herself permission to honor her mother’s
legacy. She moved from grieving to celebrating her precious
Mother’s life. She Dared to Dream and even gave herself "The
Right to Write," edit, and self-publish her very own book of
inspirational poetry entitled, Life Unwrapped. Her book is
dedicated to her greatest fan, her Mother.

Terri’s first book, Life Unwrapped, is a genuine reflection of
her journey. In sharing her personal growth and transformation,
she exposes her truths and very own revelations.

Terri admits that she was wrapped up, for many years, in false
beliefs as well as limiting fears and excuses. She acknowledges
that living Life Unwrapped has freed her of many of her
self-imposed boundaries, and has allowed her to "open up and
blossom from her cocoon into a spiritual butterfly." She is now
ready to reach out to others, and share her inspirational messages
of Love, Gratitude, Hope, Faith, Strength & Renewal.

Terri’s mission is to awaken others and to assist them in finding
the permission they need to unwrap and to evolve. Using her
life-changing epiphanies, she has created a book of life lessons
that support her new outlook on life.

Her philosophy is so simple, yet profound, and her experiences
so relatable. She feels strongly that people can easily connect
with her ideas, and can learn how to heal their lives from within.

There are many people who continue to live within their very
safe boxes, unable to venture out of their comfort zones. They
are fearful, limited, often unhappy, and full of excuses as to
why they cannot change.

In her poems, Terri presents you with the tools you will need to
help you in your transition, from old to new, from fearful to loving
and from doubting to trusting. She coaches you through your
uncertainty and empowers you from within. She reflects upon
all stages of life, the light and the dark times, and the lessons
she imparts are real and life-changing.

Terri embraces the Mind-Body-Spirit connection, and lives her
life in a state of Gratitude. She has never before felt more
connected to God, to the Universe, to Nature and to people.
She learns daily, and is convinced that her journey is always
expanding and forever incomplete.

Terri published her second book, Mind Unlocked, in January of 2012. Once again, it is a genuine expression of her real-life experiences. For this reason, you are naturally drawn into her poems and their messages and can readily relate to so many of them. You will find the emotional connection astonishing. Terri’s poetry is powerful and her words will shift your entire perspective on life.

Terri doesn’t really write books, she writes poetry. She tells stories and reflections in rhyme that reads just like regular prose. She offers wisdom and insights that touch upon real, everyday issues. When she feels that she has said enough, she collects her poems together into a book format, which then represents the culmination of specific chapters of her life. As her life unfolds, so too, does her poetry.

I write poetry
because it is the language
that feeds and nurtures my soul.
I want to speak publicly, because inspiring
others to build their own spiritual muscle is one of my main goals.

The Gift

Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
today is God's gift,
that's why we call it the present.
